The Role

Job purpose

As a hybrid lead and support person for digital marketing efforts, you will play a key role in identifying digital opportunities that build the Pedalheads brand in North America and drive registration from new and existing customers. You will work collaboratively with the Pedalheads marketing team and agency partners to plan and execute strategic digital marketing initiatives.

Duties and responsibilities


Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for:

Paid Digital Support

  • Work alongside our agency partners to create targeted digital marketing campaigns that support all stages of the customer journey from awareness to advocacy and everything in between
  • Pull key insights from campaigns to continuously optimize campaign efficiency
  • Recommend and work with the marketing team to develop creative that resonates with the Pedalheads target audience
  • Debrief with the digital agency and provide the Pedalheads team with a high-level analysis or post-mortem of their digital marketing campaigns
  • Use data to optimize marketing campaigns (CRM, Google Analytics etc.)
  • Turn details into key learnings and actionable insights

Organic Social Media Support

  • Member of the Pedalheads content team: share new ideas, best practices, current trends and give feedback on social media content.
  • Responsible for supporting the Marketing Coordinator on content calendar creation and execution (covering holidays etc.)

Email Marketing Lead

  • Lead and execute Pedalheads email marketing
  • Develop efficient ways of communicating key messaging to our customers
  • Use data insights including CRM to create content that our customers value
  • Measure and provide analysis on email campaigns to the marketing team


Web Support

  • Keep the Pedalheads website up to date
  • Improve the landing pages based on analysis or best practices
  • Manage our Google My Business page strategy

Third Party Partnerships Lead

  • Work with third-party partners to plan and execute targeted regional campaigns
  • Negotiate contracts to get the best ROI possible
  • Analyze partnerships and provide recommendations for improvement where necessary

Qualifications

  • Experience and Education
  • Experience in a digital marketing role (2-4 years)
  • An undergraduate degree in marketing or communications, though an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

A background in sports or children’s programming is an asset but not required

Systems

    • Experienced and comfortable working with MailChimp, Asana, Microsoft Office, Google Analytics, HubSpot (or other CRM experience), Adobe products ie. In Design, Illustrator, Photoshop
    • Experienced with SEO tools, e.g. SEMrush or Ahrefs
