The Role

Reporting to the Manager, Swim, this role will effectively and efficiently manage the day-to-day operations of the Pedalheads Swim program in BC. You will uphold Pedalheads program excellence, safety standards and personalized customer service while growing registrations and revenue. You will liaise with cross functional departments, build and strengthen full and part-time teams and manage consistency and excellence across multiple facilities across Metro Vancouver.

Your Responsibilities

  • In addition to sharing your ideas on how we can grow, learn and build in this role, you’ll also be:
  • Provide strategic management of the day-to-day operations of our swim programs
  • Develop and implement processes across all facilities
  • Grow revenue by driving sales and business results through premium customer experience, employee relations, and detail-orientated operations
  • Ensure the highest standard of safety at all pools.
  • Maintain a premium experience for environment and atmosphere in all facilities
  • Document procedures, identify problems, work with the Manager, Swim to develop and adapt those procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service initiate and monitor customer feedback, including customer satisfaction and NPS score
  • Take care of inventory checks on a regular basis. Ensuring all pools are equipped with what they need, ordering equipment when needed
  • Complete administrative duties including answering phones and email, taking program registrations, payments and communicating with other teams when needed
  • Engage families on an ongoing basis regarding special events and other Pedalheads Swim and Bike Programs, camps and lessons
  • Assist with hiring and scheduling where needed
  • Work with the Manager, Program and Training Swim to ensure high standard of programming across all pools

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

We believe that a great team is built on a collection of diverse skills, knowledge and experiences and we consider all of this when we review your application:

  • Minimum of 3 years supervisory or management experience in a service or retail environment
  • 3+ years of customer service
  • Experience working with children is a must
  • Prior experience in Aquatics is an asset
  • Valid driver license
